I'm LaCienda (LAH-SEE-EN-duh), but feel free to call me Cindy! I strive to keep life simple, but significant. In a nutshell, I'm an introverted homebody that's a little eccentric and eclectic! I'm an avid user of affirmations, alliteration, and acronyms - I'm sure you've noticed it by now, lol. I'm also ambitious, so I work hard but I'm not about the hustle... it's simply not sustainable.

My desire for more ease inspired me to pursue a lifestyle of wellness without the overwhelm. This commitment to a simple journey of healing has made me even more passionate about empowering more women of color to create a foundation of systems that prioritize better health and happiness.

About me & my mission

On the outside, you show up like you're superwomen.
Inside, you're always struggling through survival mode.

There was a long stretch of time when I kept promising myself that next week would be different. I collected routines, saved posts, made fresh plans in my notes app, and still watched the same pattern replay. I would start strong, then a sick kid, a deadline, or a disrupted night would knock me off course.

What finally shifted things was not another intense reset. It was a small amount of predictable structure.

• The same breakfast and lunch on busy work days.
• A short walk after dinner, even when unmotivated.
• Putting my phone out of reach when going to bed.

None of that looked impressive from the outside. Inside, it gave my mind and body something familiar to rely on. Each day stopped feeling like a brand new negotiation.

WOC Wellness grew out of that season. It created the foundation, the map I needed then, built so you don't have to figure this out alone now.
